Copeland Claims One Billion Muslims
Will Be Saved Within Months
by Sandy Simpson, 12/5/01

False prophet extraordinaire Kenneth Copeland, in a dedication service on 12/02/01 for the new 2000 seat Word of Life church auditorium in Honolulu, predicted that close to one billion Muslims would be saved in the next few months.

Kenneth Copeland, Word of Life Christian Center, Honolulu HI,
Dedication Celebration Service, Evening, Dec. 2, 2001

"And there are going to be multiplied millions upon millions, there's going to be close to a billion people that have been trapped in that religion, that over the next few months are gonna to come into the kingdom of God. (cheering) That's gonna happen, you watch and see what I'm telling you. Because its been ... I'm telling you Satan's fat is in the fire he pushed it over the line, and God has moved, and for over a hundred years the United States has been an instrument of judgment in the hand of God. That's one of the reasons we're blessed, amen?  I'd like to get in there and walk around a while but I don't have the time but I can tell you this, that thing has come to an end, its over, I'm talking about Islam and every, all that that stands for. That's over with. Now, God is making His move."

Here's the link to the audio clip of the above.  It's in MP3 format.

Now, just for fun, let's countdown the days till this prediction is fulfilled.

1 Billion Muslims Saved!

This false prediction tops all his previous false prophecy records.  There is no way one billion Muslims will EVER be saved.  But there are three ways that ecumenists like Copeland could CALL them saved.  (1) The Pope and others in league with him could wave their magic wand and include them all as regenerate.  The Pope has already done this and it is stated as such in the Catholic Catechism that bears his signature. (2) The Antichrist could show up on the scene and declare anyone who worships "God" to be in unity.  (3) The worship of Mary could bring many religions together.  None of these scenarios, however, would make them true believers.  But then I doubt Kenneth Copeland knows what a true believer is in any case.

Let's go over a few of his former false prophesy milestones.  This first example is not a "prophecy" in the strict sense, but since Copeland claims to be a little god and whatever he speaks God must do, then it is hard to always say whether or not he is speaking AS god or FOR God.  The first example is one where he is speaking "into God's ears" which means, in the Word-Faith semantic, that whatever Copeland speaks into the ears of God, He must rush to do.  The second example is when he actually claimed to be speaking TO Jesus Christ and the third is where he is claiming to be speaking FOR God.

Kenneth Copeland, August 18, 1996, Word of Life Church, Honolulu, HI

Kenneth Copeland said: "We are going to agree together tonight that God's will will be carried out.   And that whosoever is elected as president of   the United States and whomsoever is elected in the congress  of the United States, WILL HEAR AND OBEY THE VOICE OF GOD ALMIGHTY FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS IN THIS NATION."  He made this statement "into God's ears" in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 18, 1996 at a Word of Life Church service after saying misapplying the following Scripture "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall AGREE on  earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, IT SHALL BE DONE for them of my Father which is in heaven.  For where TWO OR THREE are gathered together in my name, there  am I in the midst of them."

Obviously this prophecy was talking about Bill Clinton.  Enough said!

Kenneth Copeland, Dallas. TX, printed in Copeland's Voice of Victory Magazine, Vol.15., No., 1987

Kenneth Copeland delivered the following prophecy during a three day victory campaign held in Dallas Texas. It is reproduced in the Voice of Victory 20th Anniversary of his ministry. Found on Page 9, he claims his prophecy came from Jesus Christ, Copeland says,  "You remember in my word I said to my disciples this kind comes not out by prayer and fasting." He's talking now about the power of prayer. He goes on "Don't be disturbed (this is Jesus) when people accuse you of being God. The more you get to be like me God. But I didn't claim I was God; I just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah."

“The Spirit of God spoke to me and He said, ‘Son, realize this. Now follow me in this and don't let your tradition trip you up.’ He said, ‘Think this way—a twice-born man whipped Satan in his own domain.’ And I threw my Bible down … like that. I said, ‘What?’ He said, ‘A born-again man defeated Satan, the firstborn of many brethren defeated him.’ He said, ‘You are the very image, the very copy of that one.’ I said, ‘Well now you don't mean, you couldn't dare mean, that I could have done the same thing?’ He said, ‘Oh yeah, if you'd had the knowledge of the Word of God that He did, you could've done the same thing, ‘cause you're a reborn man too.” (Substitution and Identification, 1989, tape #00-0202, side 2)

In actuality, most of the teachings of Kenneth Copeland he claims he received directly from Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit, so all his false teachings are false prophesies as well.
