Surprising List of Speakers at "Rediscovering God in America" Conference Draws Strong Concerns

As I pen these words, a conference is taking place this weekend that is further indication of the spiritual deception and the blurring of lines happening in the church today. Some call this deception in the church a conspiracy. In our view, the deception should be called outright heresy and part of the Great Apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Will anyone wake up and smell the smoke? Apparently, no one is willing to say a word. Where is the discernment? Where are the pastors who should be warning?

Former New Age Follower Shares Testimony and Warning

As New Age believers years ago, my wife and I had no reason to doubt any of the "new revelation" that was coming our way. When we were students of A Course in Miracles in the early 1980s, it never occurred to us that Helen Schucman had received her spiritual dictation from anyone other than the real Jesus Christ. As members of A Course in Miracles study group, we studied what the "Jesus" of the Course said and applied his teachings to our lives. Having never read the whole Bible for ourselves, we thought the Course was helping us to understand what the Bible was "really" saying. We accepted the Course's interpretation of the Bible completely. It had a certain logic and seemed to make sense. We believed we were on the right path. Meaningful "coincidence" that had led us to the Course, and the supernatural signs that often accompanied our study appeared to confirm that we were spiritually where we were supposed to be.

Round the Mulberry Bush with Bill Johnson

Unless and until Bill Johnson both comes out with an unambiguous, orthodox statement and corrects all his other unorthodox statements I remain unconvinced that he actually intends on promoting orthodox Christology. This would be a monumental task, for sure; however, "with God all things are possible" [Matthew 19:26].
