You need to "nip it in the bud"!

I am writing this article to address a subject that I have often observed.  It is the fact that if you do not get the leaven out of your church the leaven will become the leadership.The Bible teaches quite clearly that if you let the leaven in you will leaven the whole lump.
 Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough.
 We see this often in the case of many "Christian" movements that have allowed a small error to exist in their churches and have not dealt with those issues.  It then ends up metastasizing into worse and worse problems as time goes by.

When God speaks to a man in his spirit, he understands with the mind the will of God, and can thus perform it with the full use of his faculties and in full assurance that he is doing what God expects of him.  The occultist or spiritist must bypass the mind by shutting down his thinking processes in order to reach a passive state, at which point contact with a spirit is made. One way of doing this is with a mantra; that is, repeating the same word, word segment, or phrase over and over again. There is no such practice found in Scripture.

Religious author Diana Butler Bass, who was one of the speakers at the recent Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, has written a book titled Christianity After Religion: The End of Church and the Birth of a New Spiritual Awakening.

Does the NAR Have a New Prophet?

NAR false prophets, David Herzog and Chuck Pierce, are two of the featured speakers in the upcoming conference called "The Awakening." It will be held in mid-November in Phoenix, Arizona. The third man on the ticket might surprise Christians who attend popular Bible prophecy conferences hosted by teachers who stick to what the Bible teaches concerning end times. Paul McGuire, at first glance, seems out of his league to share the platform with men who major on gold dust and healing angels and speak from their own visions and imaginations while ignoring Scripture. But upon further investigation it becomes clear that he fits right in with the evil workers of the "New Apostolic Reformation."
