Pensacola Intimidation

If you want to be intimidated and lampooned, go to the Brownsville Assembly to "try the spirit." I know because I went. Steve Hill was very upset when he came to the pulpit to preach that night. He said that he had to get something said before he could preach. Then he talked about the "FBI," which he defined as the "Fault-finding Brothers International." He spoke so arrogantly about anyone questioning this "move of God" that I had to claim the Blood to resist his criticism.

This same intimidation has been reported all across the country. You will read of other similar statements in other parts of this report. A true move of God will invite Bible Bereans to line the walls and confirm the absolute truth of His visitation. It certainly will not offend God when we search the Scripture.

Remember all of Satan's spirits are religious. There is no false creature, fallen angel, or demon that did not at one time know the realities of God and were created to be spiritual beings. They are no longer spiritual, but they are still religious. Their religion is the false religion of Satan and is absolutely sinister and deceiving. Their greatest talent is to intimidate the things of God and to play with the sacred expressions of the Heavenly Father. Test everything! I would not want to go to the grocery store without the "gift of discernment."

HERE IS MY BEST DESCRIPTION OF
HOW TO DISCERN THE SPIRITS:

  • The Holy Spirit will always magnify Jesus Christ and Him alone. Any spirit that draws attention to his effect, his manifestation, or to the person this spirit is using, is not the Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit will effect His work in absolute harmony with the Word of God. Any spirit that promotes new ideas, new revelations (foreign to Scripture), or odd behavior is not the Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit will inspire you to try His work, prove His revelation, or move with caution in accepting anything until you have judged according to the wise council of Godly people and the Biblical model. A false spirit will become angry when you ask questions, get out your Bible to search for the truth, or otherwise be a Berean (one who searches the Scriptures daily to see if these things be of God).
  • The Holy Spirit uses sanctified temples to manifest the glory of Jesus Christ. A false spirit will use any vessel that has a cunning personality. False spirits look for men or women who have a captivating demeanor. False spirits usually appeal to flesh and to titillating experiences.
  • The Holy Spirit will lead you to grow up in the Lord and become a well grounded believer fitting "fitly" into the church as a dedicated member. False spirits will have you chasing every "hype" and "high" the religious offers.
  • The Holy Spirit will draw you into a deep hunger for Jesus Christ and His Biblical revelation. False spirits will have you depending on emotional jolts and a continued thirst for some hyped religious event.
  • The Holy Spirit will draw you to a separated life of purity and holiness in all conduct. False spirits will offer you excuses to be giddy, light, and careless.

"To another the working of miracles; to another propehcy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues." (1 Corinthians 12:10)

"Let the prophets speak two of three, and let the others judge." (1Corinthians 14:29)
